King Of Monsters

The 1986 Ford Mustang GT “Foxilla” is a tribute to unstoppable force, a street born titan stirring from decades of silence. It rises with the thunder of Ford’s 7.3L Godzilla V8 beneath the sharp silhouette of a Foxbody, where ancient monster strength collides with classic American muscle and raw mechanical fury. This is not just a Mustang. It is the awakening of a titan.

THE STORY

Born from the idea that a Foxbody could become something far more formidable than its era ever intended, the 1986 Ford Mustang GT “Foxilla” is JH Restorations’ vision of American muscle reborn as a modern titan. What began as a GT model was stripped to its bones and rebuilt with a singular purpose: awaken the monster within. Beneath the sharpened silhouette lies Ford’s massive 7.3L Godzilla V8, armed with a Brian Tooley Racing Truck Norris camshaft and delivering 550 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque to the pavement. Its voice erupts through a Borla stainless exhaust with a Z crossover and custom back half, while a Ford 10R80 ten speed automatic and Ford Super 8.8 rear end ensure the titan’s power meets the road with ruthless efficiency.

Every element pushes Foxilla beyond its original limits. Hand formed steel flares widen the body four inches over stock, wrapped around Forgeline wheels and Toyo Proxes tires that barely contain its stance. RideTech front SLA suspension and a fully independent rear system modernize the chassis, while Wilwood brakes bring the fury to a halt when necessary. Finished in BASF Shelter Green with satin bronze trim, the car carries an unmistakable presence that feels both factory born and strangely otherworldly.

It is not simply a Mustang reborn. It is the moment a sleeping monster rises.

“Foxilla isn’t a tribute. It’s a resurrection.
A Foxbody icon awakened with the roar of a monster that was never meant to sleep.”
